Marilee Lonergan has earned her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Tulsa and her Master of Science degree from Oklahoma State University. She began her career in financial planning in 2007, following earlier roles as a pharmaceutical representative and full-time mom. Entering the profession later in life gave Marilee a deep appreciation for the importance of financial education—especially for women, who often defer financial decisions to a partner. Her passion lies in empowering individuals to make informed, confident financial choices.
In 2010, Marilee founded Lonergan Advisors, and in 2017 earned the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ designation. She joined the Tulsa Estate Planning Forum in 2019 and currently serves as an officer—reflecting her commitment to both the profession and her clients.
Marilee and her husband, David, have been married since 1986 and have raised three accomplished children. They enjoy spending time at their family retreat, “Lonergan Lodge” on Grand Lake, where they’ve created countless memories with family and friends - whether out on the water or relaxing on the deck.
In the community, Marilee serves on the board of Project Elf, a grassroots nonprofit supporting Tulsa-area schoolchildren. She and her family are members of First Presbyterian Church and are deeply committed to giving back through volunteer work and philanthropic support of local nonprofits.
